Fruit of the Spirit Women's Bible Study

Discerning the Voice of God- Women's Bible Study

October 18th - November 1st, 2017

Please join us Wednesday mornings beginning September 20th, from 9:30am-11:30am, for “Discerning the Voice of God, authored by Priscilla Shirer. Through this 7-week study, discover the root to clear and daily communication with God – humble obedience. Learn how surrender unlocks His many blessings intended for us, center us in His will and helps us discern His voice in everyday life.

Cost is $15 for adults and $25 for children birth through age 5. Registration is required for the class and for Children’s Ministry. Participants not pre-registered will be responsible for purchasing their own book.

MEETS ONCE MONTHLY FROM OCTOBER-MAY.

Moms United intends to gather mothers into community to be refreshed, equipped, and motivated with the truth of the gospel. We sprouted out of the desire for grace and fellowship past the preschool years as we parent our elementary, junior high and high school aged children. We meet once a month for a delicious brunch, truth from God’s Word, and encouragement from one another. Join us as we turn our eyes upon Jesus.

The fee is $25 for the whole year. Children's Ministry and a homeschooling room is available for $25/child. If you are registering more than three children please contact Lisa Larking at lisa@kingsharbor.org for a discount code.

What in the World Saturday Service Projects

November 4th, 2017

1) Community’s Child, Lomita, CA This project entails interior and exterior decorating of the Community’s Child Home, making hand-made child-friendly gifts and decorations, and sharing the true meaning of Christmas. Hours: 9am - 1pm

2) Beacon Light Mission, Wilmington, CA. This project entails making/serving breakfast; distributing clothing, foot washing, hair-cuts, and medical aid to the homeless in the area. Hours: 8am-12pm

3) FunZone-King's Harbor Church, Torrance, CA This project will be working with special needs teens/young adults in games and interacting with participants. Volunteers with set-up, run games, greet our visitors, help escort as needed, serve snacks, and help clean-up. Hours: 9am-1pm

4) Melendez House, Lomita, CA This is an interior/exterior home care project. Volunteers are need for landscaping, weeding, replanting, and cleaning inside the house. Hours: 9am-1pm
